NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Aperia Technologies announced an exclusive agreement to supply its tire management technology to Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co.’s subscription-based Tires-as-a-Service program.
Goodyear TaaS combines Goodyear’s tires and service network with continuous monitoring and predictive insights to create a comprehensive tire management offering.
TaaS, available in North America and Europe, is designed to help commercial fleets save time and reduce costs through outsourced tire management.
Goodyear’s TaaS offering incorporates the capabilities of Aperia’s Halo Connect i3 system, including self-powered automatic tire inflation, integrated tire pressure sensing, remote setpoint adjustments and customizable inflation settings.
Aperia and Goodyear announced the agreement during a March 10 press briefing at the ATA Technology & Maintenance Council’s 2025 Annual Meeting and Transportation Technology Exhibition.

“We are incredibly excited to collaborate with Goodyear as the automatic tire inflation provider for their new technology-enabled TaaS solution,” said Ralph Dimenna, Aperia’s chief commercial officer. “It provides another opportunity for Aperia to power the future of tire management as Goodyear expands the TaaS offering in North America and Europe.”

Michelle Ross, head of sales and marketing for Goodyear Tires as a Service, described the program as a “worry-free tire subscription” for fleet operators.
She said the tire maker established the outsourced tire management service to address major trends in the trucking industry, including driver and technician shortages, the push for environmental sustainability and the rise of electric, automated and connected trucks.
“There’s potential here for us to help fleets cut through all this complexity by tying some of our offerings together,” Ross said.
Goodyear TaaS subscribers pay on a per-mile basis for the tires, the technology and the outsourced tire management services.

“We’re going to monitor your tires continuously for air pressure, temperature, mileage and tread depth,” Ross said. “We’ll proactively monitor your tires and when we see an alert, we’ll resolve that alert for you by dispatching service on your behalf.”
Aperia introduced its Halo Connect i3 platform a year ago at TMC’s 2024 annual meeting.
Dimenna said the system enables users to adjust their tire management programs remotely with the touch of a button. Customers can adjust tire pressure settings for a certain group of trucks, a certain location or perhaps on a dedicated lane for a specific customer, he said.
Aperia’s technology helps fleets manage more than 1 million tires and has accumulated 100 billion real-world miles, the company said.
