AmeriQuest Transportation, NationaLease to Merge

ransportation management and procurement services company Ameriquest Transportation and Logistics Resources Corp. and NationaLease Purchasing Corp., the purchasing division of truck leasing network NationaLease, on Monday signed an agreement to combine their organizations.

The agreement will create a combined leasing organization that will operate under the NationaLease name and represent more than 150,000 trucks and 700 locations, the companies said in a statement.

Under the deal Doug Clark, president of AmeriQuest, will become president and chief executive officer of both companies.

AmeriQuest and NationaLease expect to close the deal in November.
