PMC Logistics, ICON Transportation, and USCO Logistics have formed a partnership to create GoLogistics.com, a Web site bringing together shippers and LTL carriers. The site will help trucking companies have fewer linehaul miles with no cargo while cutting shippers' costs by helping them find carriers that offer lower rates. Shippers give GoLogistics information about shipments, then GoLogistics finds appropriate LTL carriers and takes bids. GoLogistics then gives the shippers the three best bids.
