Allied Gains Agreement With GM Through 2008

uto hauler Allied Holdings said that its Allied Automotive Group unit had successfully renewed its delivery agreement with General Motors Corp.

The agreement will extend Allied’s agreement with GM through Dec. 31, 2008, Allied said in a statement.

It includes rate increases for both next year and 2007, Allied said.



The agreement still must be ratified by the U.S. Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Georgia. Allied filed Chapter 11 bankruptcy in August. (Click here for previous coverage.)
