Top executives at Graebel Cos., based in Aurora, Colorado, announced a deal to sell Graebel Van Lines and the domestic moving and storage operations of Graebel Movers to Robert and Vasilia Peterson, founders of All My Sons Moving & Storage, a company based in Texas, for an undisclosed amount.

In a statement issued Oct. 15, officials said the Petersons intend to operate the two business units under a newly formed holding company called Graebel Ventures, which will operate separately from All My Sons Moving & Storage and will be headquartered in Texas.

Graebel ranks No. 69 on the Transport Topics Top 100 list of largest for-hire carriers in the United States and Canada with revenue of $363.1 million in 2013.

The sale does not include Graebel’s international and commercial moving services, which will continue to operate under the umbrella of Graebel Cos. and will continue to be led by CEO William Graebel.
