Accuride Launches Video Series Covering Wheels, Brakes
Commercial vehicle supplier Accuride Corp. announced June 7 that it had launched a new series of how-to videos to help fleet maintenance technicians properly install and service its steel and aluminum wheels and Gunite-brand brake drums and automatic slack adjusters.
“We incorporated content requested by fleet maintenance and distribution customers and by representatives of our Distributor Advisory Council,” Timothy Weir, Accuride’s director of public affairs, told Transport Topics.
The company, based in Evansville, Indiana, said the videos use animation, technical diagrams and step-by-step instructions to quickly and clearly walk the viewer through correct procedures for installing and maintaining these components.
Accuride customers can access the videos on the Accuride website, mobile application and YouTube channel, the company said.
