123Loadboard, a freight-matching technology company, launched its next-generation version of its loadboard mobile app, the company said in an Aug. 20 news release.

The app was developed using the latest advancements for React Native, the interface targeting mobile platforms used by numerous businesses.

Company officials said the React platform offers rapid product updates and quicker build speeds. The platform allows developers to share more than 90% of the code base between iOS and Android apps for cross-platform usage.

The new and redesigned app will allow truck drivers to see loads in actual real time as they appear on the loadboard, Vice President Loarn Metzen said. Carriers will receive instant load alerts and are able to use filtering tools for advanced searching, sorting and speed, he said.

123Loadboard customers can find loads as they appear on screen while searching, and they will be able to pinpoint loads around their exact location.

Founded in 2004, 123Loadboard of Montreal provides a freight-matching marketplace for carriers, owner-operators, brokers and shippers. Posting loads still is free, the company said. Transport Topics
