Volvo Seeking Entrants for Fleet Safety Awards
The truck maker will present awards in two categories: to fleets traveling more than 20 million miles and fleets traveling less than 20 million miles. It will announce the winners in October at American Trucking Associations’ Management Conference & Exhibition in Philadelphia. Michelin Americas Truck Tires will again sponsor the annual award.
The winning fleets receive $25,000 to be used for their safety-related activities.
“Nothing is more important in managing a fleet than maintaining a stellar safety record, and we are proud to honor the trucking industry’s best performers again this year,” said Göran Nyberg, president of Volvo Trucks North America.
