USF Holland Names Robert Zimmerman President
egional less-than-truckload carrier USF Holland said late Wednesday it had named Robert Zimmerman its president, replacing Steve Caddy.

Prior to accepting his new position, Zimmerman was senior vice president of field operations and sales at Yellow Roadway’s unit Yellow Transportation since 2003, where he played a key role in the implementation of its two-day deliveries and the creation of next-day service, USF said.
Last June USF Holland expanded its Midwest-based service area to include the Northeast. The company now operates in 22 states in the eastern half of the United States, and the eastern Canadian provinces.
Yellow ranked No. 3 on the 2004 Transport Topics 100 list of the largest U.S. and Canadian trucking companies; USF was No. 12.
