UPS to Rebrand Its Stores in Canada and India

PS Inc. said Wednesday that its Mail Boxes Etc. subsidiary is expanding its UPS Store brand internationally, starting in Canada and India.

The company said the UPS Store would debut in India and that 265 Mail Boxes Etc. locations in Canada would convert to the UPS Store brand.

anada is the first country outside the United States to adopt the UPS Store name, with 95% of existing Mail Boxes Etc. franchisees choosing to re-brand, the company said in a statement.



Jetair Business Solutions Pvt. Ltd. was named the exclusive licensee to develop the UPS Store business within India, UPS said.

UPS, ranked No. 1 on the Transport Topics 100 listing of U.S. and Canadian for-hire carriers, first announced its purchase of Mail Boxes Etc. in March 2001 and began rebranding those stores in April 2003.
