TSE Changes Name to Redwood Logistics

Transportation Solutions Enterprises, a Chicago-based company that provides a variety of transportation services, has changed its name to Redwood Logistics.

President Todd Berger said the new name represents an effort to “strategically integrate” the company’s technology and service offerings.

The Redwood family of companies includes Redwood Multimodal (freight brokerage), Redwood Supply Chain Solutions (transportation management), Redwood Distribution (warehousing and freight forwarding) and Freight Exchange (dry van truckload carrier).

Founded in 2000, Redwood employs more than 300 people, and company officials said they expect to move and manage $500 million in freight in 2015. The company ranked No. 22 on the 2014 Transport Topics Top 25 Freight Brokerage Firms list.
