Transport Topics Hires New Staff Reporter

Transport Topics Publishing Group has hired Tarun Reddy as a staff reporter to cover a range of government and business topics.

Reddy comes to Transport Topics from the Saudi Press Agency, where he covered the State Department and the Department of Energy. Prior to that, he covered the Securities and Exchange Commission for Institutional Investor.

“We are pleased to have Tarun on our staff with his extensive experience,” said Howard Abramson, TTPG’s publisher and editorial director.

“His knowledge will allow us to continue our award-winning coverage of transportation issues that our readers count on us for.”

During his early career in journalism, Reddy was business editor at the Northwest Arkansas Times in Fayetteville, Ark., and got his first taste of the trucking industry covering J.B. Hunt Transport Services.

His career also includes covering DOE for McGraw Hill.

Reddy attended Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, where he received a bachelor’s degree in journalism with a minor in economics.
