Trailer Bridge Inc. said Monday it took a loss in the second quarter and that it appointed a new chairman.
The company narrowed its quarterly loss to about $329,300, or 3 cents a share, from $1.9 million, or 16 cents a share, a year ago.
Revenue rose 14.7% to $33.9 million, the company said in a statement.
Trailer Bridge also said Chairman and CEO John McCown would step down as chairman and replaced in that role by Allen Stevens.
McCown will become vice chairman and remain CEO, the company said.
Trailer Bridge provides integrated trucking, intermodal and marine freight services, including its core twice-weekly service to Puerto Rico, which it said continues to be profitable.
