Toys ‘R’ Us Signs Contract With Kuehne + Nagel for China Stores

Third-party logistics firm Kuehne + Nagel signed a four-year contract with Toys “R” Us to manage the retailer’s transportation, warehousing and logistics in Beijing.

The toy retailer has 130 stores in China, including 45 near the capital city.

Kuehne + Nagel said in a statement that about half a million products will be handled by the Beijing distribution center annually. Other services offered from the that site include inventory control, fulfillment and management of returns.

We look forward to this partnership continuing to support our growth ambitions in mainland China in the coming years,” said Roy Sammartino, managing director for Toys “R” Us in China.
