TNT’s Income, Revenue Gain for Quarter

etherlands-based logistics firm TNT NV, Europe’s second-largest package delivery company, said its third-quarter profit rose 0.7%, helped by increased demand, Bloomberg reported Monday.

Net income rose to about $178 million or 39 cents a share, from $177 million or 37 cents. Revenue rose 8.6% to $3.9 billion.

TNT also said that its express business plans to cooperate with Japan Post in the Asia-Pacific region, Bloomberg reported.



TNT is the parent of TNT Logistics North America, No. 7 on the Transport Topics Logistics 50 listing of North American logistics firms.
