TNT Logistics Changes Name to Ceva Logistics

NT Logistics, which was sold by Dutch parent TNT NV earlier this year, said Tuesday it changed its name Ceva Logistics.

Ceva unveiled its new corporate identity and said it will begin doing business under the new brand in 26 countries as of Tuesday.

TNT NV last month completed sale of its logistics unit to U.S. private equity fund Apollo Management for 1.48 billion euros, or about $1.9 billion. (Click here for previous coverage.)



Ceva has annual revenue of €3.5 billion, about $4.6 billion. It employs 38,000 people world wide.

TNT Logistics North America was ranked No. 30 on the Transport Topics 100 listing of U.S. and Canadian for-hire carriers and No. 12 on the TT Logistics 50 listing of logistics firms.
