The president of trucking software provider TMW Systems said he does not expect a slowdown in sales this year, even as some trucking companies face a downturn in demand for freight-hauling services.President Dave Wangler said revenue for TMW, Beachwood, Ohio, topped $44 million in 2006, an increase of 24.4% over the prior year. He expects sales in 2007 to reach $52.7 million.Wangler said TMW’s sales staff has not seen any of the usual warning signs that carriers are cutting back on purchases because of economic uncertainty.“Everyone wants to be more efficient regardless of the business environment,” he said during a recent meeting with Transport Topics staff.
