Teamsters Sign Contract With DHL for L.A. Airport Workers

eamsters at DHL’s Los Angeles International Airport facility overwhelmingly approved a three-year contract, the union said in a statement.

The union said its 150 workers at LAX became the second DHL location to be sign a Teamster agreement, following 300 DHL workers at John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York, who have been represented by the Teamsters since February.

Under the agreement, workers got wage increases and were enrolled the workers in the Western Conference Pension Plan, the union said.



DHL is ranked No. 4 on the Transport Topics 100 listing of U.S. and Canadian for-hire carriers.
