treicher Mobile Fueling, which provides petroleum product distribution, logistics and emergency response services to the trucking, construction, utility and other industries, reported Tuesday that it had a net loss for its fourth quarter ended June 30.
Streicher said it lost $225,000, or 3 cents a share, compared with a loss of $57,000, 1 cent a year earlier.
The company attributed the higher net loss to increases in selling, administrative and interest expenses and depreciation.
For the quarter, revenue and gallons delivered increased 64% and 41%, respectively, to $43.5 million on 20.1 million gallons, the company said.
The increases were mostly due to its acquisition of Shank Services in February, and higher fuel prices.
