ruck manufacturer Mack said Wednesday it plans to include its Road Stability Advantage system as a standard feature on its vehicles.

The system uses anti-lock brake wheel speed sensors, steering, yaw and lateral acceleration inputs to deactivate the throttle and selectively apply the brakes during sharp curves, sudden lane changes, or while trying to avoid an obstacle.

Mack began offering the stability control system as an option on its tractors last year.

Mack is subsidiary of Swedish truck maker Volvo AB.
