Ryder Offers New Leasing Program with Options
Ryder System Inc. said it has created a new vehicle leasing program to offer customers more choices for maintenance and other options.
Miami-based Ryder said its new program, known as Ryder ChoiceLease, now offers three options for maintenance, including full service, preventive and on-demand. Prior to the new offering, customers only could select a full-service lease option.
“This scalable model enables customers to decide the terms of their lease alongside the level of maintenance they prefer, from total bumper-to-bumper coverage to the pay-as-you-go maintenance, accessed only when and where they need it,” the statement said.
“Recent market research and conversations with private fleet owners and other prospects that are new to outsourcing have shown that there is strong interest in having options,” said CEO Robert Sanchez in the statement. “These new products also help address some of the barriers that in the past have prevented private fleets from outsourcing their maintenance options.”
In addition to maintenance options, customers can choose between new and used power equipment and trailers from a variety of OEMs and select from multiple options for financing, lease terms and related services such as insurance, the statement said.
Ryder’s Supply Chain Solutions ranks No. 13 on the Transport Topics Top 100 list of the largest U.S. and Canadian for-hire carriers.
