Transportation software service provider Ruckit has announced a collaborative logistics platform for bulk-materials producers, trucking companies and general contractors, according to a press release. A free mobile app for iOS and Android devices allows companies to dispatch and track company-owned, leased-on or third-party trucks in real time.

Founded in 2015, Ruckit has worked to digitize construction workflows and implement artificial intelligence functionalities to move material more efficiently, according to the statement.

Dispatchers and construction managers receive recommendations on how they can improve loading and unloading times, optimize haul routes and make more informed dispatching decisions. The platform does not require hardware for trucks.

Ruckit is headquartered in Austin, Texas.
