Rahall to Keep No. 2 Rank on Transport Panel

Rep. Nick Rahall (D-W.Va.), was selected by the House Democratic Caucus last week to continue to serve as the ranking member on the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee when the new Congress convenes in January.

“To me, there are few things in Congress as important as the work we do on this committee in supporting job creation, the flow of commerce and linking our communities to each other and the world,” Rahall said.

Rep. Bill Shuster (R-Pa.) previously was chosen as the next chairman of the committee to succeed Rep. John Mica (R-Fla.).
