Qualcomm Raises Its Fourth-Quarter Earnings Forecast

ualcomm Inc. said Wednesday it was raising its income and revenue forecast for its fourth-quarter that ends Sept. 25.

img src="/sites/default/files/images/articles/qualcommlogo.gif" width=116 align=right>The company said its net income will be as much as 32 cents to 33 cents a share, compared with a previously forecast range of 29 cents to 31 cents.

Revenue will be $1.48 billion to $1.58 billion, up from its last forecast of $1.43 billion to $1.53 billion, Qualcomm said in a statement.



Qualcomm’s wireless business unit serves the trucking industry with its OmniTracs mobile communications software and T2 TrailerTracs trailer-tracking system.
