Oshkosh Reports Higher Profit

Specialty truck maker Oshkosh Truck Corp.’s fiscal second-quarter profit rose to $50.9 million or 68 cents a share, from $49.8 million or 67 cents a year ago.

Sales almost doubled, rising to $1.7 billion, the company said Thursday.

Oshkosh reiterated its full-year guidance of $3.15 to $3.25 per share, and said it expects to earn 90 to 95 cents per share in its fiscal third quarter.

Oshkosh makes specialty military and fire vehicles.
