Old Dominion Freight Line announced several management changes, including the promotion of Greg Gantt to president.

Gantt, who has been with Old Dominion since 1994, was executive vice president.

CEO David Congdon, who was also president, will assume new responsibilities as the less-than-truckload carrier’s vice chairman.

Chief Financial Officer J. Wes Frye announced he will retire at the end of the year and be succeeded by Treasurer Adam Satterfield.

“Old Dominion is fortunate to have someone of Greg’s experience and expertise,” Congdon said in a statement. “He has assumed ever-increasing levels of responsibility for all aspects of our operations [and] has played a critical leadership role” in the company’s growth.

Old Dominion Freight ranks No. 12 on the Transport Topics Top 100 list of the largest U.S. and Canadian for-hire carriers.
