Old Dominion Freight Line said it is improving its Northwest gateway into Canada effective Monday, which will connect more than 65 of its service centers to Edmonton and Calgary, Canada.
“By utilizing our Northwest gateway, we can reduce border crossing times for our customers,” said Chuck Powell, ODFL’s vice president for the Pacific Northwest.
The service will reduce border crossing times by providing a single gateway into Alberta, Canada, through Old Dominion’s Great Falls, Mont., location.
More than 65 Old Dominion service centers will be connected with this gateway, making shipping to those Canadian locations smoother and easier, the company said in a statement.
ODFL is ranked No. 20 on the Transport Topics 100 listing of U.S. and Canadian for-hire carriers.
