Navistar COO Jack Allen Retires

Navistar International Corp. announced the retirement of Chief Operating Officer Jack Allen and expanded roles for other executives.

Allen, 56, retired after more than 33 years with the truck and engine manufacturer. He had been the company’s COO since April 2013.

“Jack has been an important leader at this company for more than three decades, and he played a critical role during our turnaround these past two years,” CEO Troy Clarke said in the Nov. 6 statement.

Bill Kozek, 52, has been promoted to president of truck and parts with added responsibilities for global and export truck and parts sales, product planning and Navistar Defense. He was previously was president of Navistar’s North American truck and parts business.



Navistar also promoted Persio Lisboa, 49, to president of operations, from senior vice president and chief procurement officer.

Chief Financial Officer Walter Borst, 52, has taken on additional responsibilities for business development, mergers and acquisitions and corporate strategic planning.

“Today is a new beginning for Navistar,” Clarke said. “We are introducing a new leadership team and organization structure that will guide us into the future and enable us to accelerate our performance now that our turnaround is behind us.”
