Lisa Mullings, president of the National Association of Truck Stop Operators, has been appointed to serve on the American Transportation Research Institute’s 2017-2018 Research Advisory Committee.

The committee is responsible for annually identifying the trucking industry’s top research priorities. According to ATRI, the 34 committee members represent a cross-section of industry stakeholders, including those from motor carriers, suppliers, shippers and law enforcement as well as drivers, academics and government officials.

“Research and data are critical to guiding the business decisions of many members of the transportation sector,” Mullings said in a statement released by Natso. “I am excited and honored to have this opportunity to serve on ATRI’s Research Advisory Committee to help ensure that we have the best data to guide us.”
