Natso Selects Tom Heinz as Chairman

Natso, which represents truck stops and other groups, said it has selected Tom Heinz, president of Coffee Cup Fuel Stop & Convenience Stores, as its 2013 chairman.

Heinz, who succeeds Darrin Flitton, previously served on Natso’s board of directors and was chairman of the group’s foundation, the association said.

He takes charge of the board as the industry faces critical issues such as the future of highway funding and the possibility of rising tolls and fuel taxes, Natso said.

Heinz spent 37 years in different sections of the petroleum industry, according to Natso, which was formerly known as the National Association of Truck Stop Operators.
