Meritor Offers New Replacement Program for Drivelines
Meritor Inc. announced a quicker and more economical replacement program for Meritor Xtended Lube MXL and Permalube RPL drivelines as well as Spicer 10 Series and SPL 170/250 driveshafts.
Original equipment dealers and warehouse distributors can order replacement or customizable driveshafts with same-day or next-day shipping arrangements, which can help curtail long lead times, according to the Troy, Mich.-based company.
Customers can download a “Driveshaft on Demand” specifications form on Meritor’s Literature on Demand website. The three-step ordering process asks customers to identify the U-joint series, assembly type and driveshaft measurement.
“Staying productive is critical, and waiting days for a driveshaft replacement is counterproductive to that goal,” said Sam Marco, Meritor senior manager for driveline and aftermarket.
