MercuryGate International Inc., a provider of transportation management systems, said a secure payment system from Truckstop.com has been integrated into the MercuryGate system.
The payment system known as LoadPay provides a platform with a variety of options for brokers, shippers and third-party logistics providers to pay carriers, while giving them more visibility and control of payments and cash flow as well as lowering costs, said the statement from North Carolina-based MercuryGate. There is an option called PayMeNow, for fleets that prefer a quick pay option.
“Brokers, 3PLs, and shippers need a turnkey and secure solution to pay carriers and reduce fraud risk. LoadPay solves these universal issues,” said Monica Wooden, MercuryGate’s co-founder and CEO. “In addition to reducing payment risk, the integration of LoadPay will enable our customers to receive the benefits of the PayMeNow savings and having the ability for quick pay.”
