assachusetts Attorney General Thomas Reilly on Tuesday filed a lawsuit alleging that negligence on the part of 15 companies involved in the Big Dig tunnel’s design and construction led to the July collapse that killed a woman, the Boston Globe reported.

As part of the lawsuit, which was filed in Suffolk Superior Court, Reilly could seek more than $150 million from Bechtel/Parsons Brinckerhoff, the joint venture responsible for the Big Dig’s management.

The lawsuit also names as defendants Gannett Fleming of Braintree, Mass., the company that provided the blueprints for the tunnel’s ceiling, and three other firms that provided the bolts and epoxy sealant used to secure the ceiling panels that eventually dislodged in the collapse, the Globe said.
