Lots of Poking, Prodding Occurred at NTEA Trade Show

ST. LOUIS — People in the market for light- or medium-duty commercial trucks turned out to see what the industry had to offer during the National Truck Equipment Association’s annual trade show.

The Commercial Truck, Trailer and Technology Expo, which was held from Feb. 23 to 25, is the largest exhibition of its kind in the United States. It gives participants an opportunity to poke through, handle and eyeball the latest equipment from manufacturers and suppliers.

T3, as NTEA calls it, is intended to provide service suppliers, equipment distributors and upfitters — companies that add special equipment to truck chassis — detailed technical information on new chassis, bodies and truck components. It is also an opportunity for fleet managers and others to get a first-hand view of new equipment and components.
