I have been involved with logistics, distribution, and transportation for more than 10 years, and it amazes me how little the average consumer knows about one of the most important parts of the economy — the truck driver.

I have seen all types of drivers and since I have first-hand experience with them, I appreciate the type of work they do day in and day out. It is a shame they are subject to dealing with companies that treat them with no respect, as more and more companies implement strict policies that drivers must adhere to — whether delivering or loading.

I support and appreciate the work of all truck drivers, and wish the public could learn just how important they are to our economy.
