Jeff Kahn, Ford Employee For 30 Years, Dies at 74

Jeff Kahn, who for decades worked for The Ford Motor Co. and later ran his own consulting firm, died April 19. He was 74.

Kahn started his consulting business, Marketing Business Associates, upon retiring from Ford after a 30-year career.

While at Ford, he managed the automaker’s marketing department, playing a pivotal role in the branding of Ford’s heavy trucks.

He also was responsible for the introduction of the Ford Aeromax, a premier aerodynamic truck.



Kahn attended Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, where he received his bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering and naval architecture in 1963. In 1968, he completed his master’s degree in mechanical engineering at the University of Michigan.

Kahn is survived by his wife, Alice, daughters Michelle and Heather, son Adam and two grandchildren.
