ICAT Logistics Forms New Subsidiary, ICAT Customs Brokerage

The Elkridge, Maryland-based firm said the new subsidiary improves ICAT’s overall efficiency by eliminating the need for a third-party broker.

ICAT said it can now transmit its own importer security filings required for all inbound ocean shipments to customs directly, increasing the timeliness of customs clearance and cargo delivery.

ICAT also said its agency network expanded during the past year with new offices in Miami; State College, Pennsylvania; Los Angeles; the United Kingdom; Dulles, Virginia; Toronto; and Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
