GE Sets $200 Million for Clean Energy Corp. LNG Expansion

GE Energy Financial Services said Tuesday it is providing $200 million to Clean Energy Corp. for two liquefied natural gas plants.

The plants are designed to produce 250,000 gallons a day, Clean Energy said, and can be expanded to produce 1 million gallons a day.

The LNG produced will be used primarily by Pilot-Flying J truck stops across the country, Clean Energy said.

The companies said they are looking for locations for the plants and expect them to be in operation by 2015.
