Gasoline Price Rises 3 Cents from Mid-December, Lundberg Says

Average U.S. retail gasoline prices rose 3 cents over the past three weeks to $2.32 a gallon, according to the latest Lundberg survey of gasoline prices released Sunday.The average for midgrade was $2.43 a gallon, while premium grade fuel was $2.53, according to Lundberg’s twice-monthly survey of 7,000 gas stations. The survey covered the period from Dec. 16 through Friday.The cheapest gas in the country was in Cheyenne, Wyo., at $2.09 a gallon, while the highest was $2.84, in Honolulu, Lundberg said.
