Frozen Food Express’ Profits, Revenue Fall in 3Q

efrigerated truckload carrier Frozen Food Express Industries reported late Tuesday its third-quarter income fell to $2.9 million or 16 cents a share, from $5 million or 26 cents a year ago.

Revenue fell to $127 million from $137.5 million.

Income from operations fell to $5.3 million from $8.8 million, the company said in a statement.



In August, the carrier authorized a new share repurchase program, authorizing the buy back of up to 750,000 shares of the its common stock. (Click here for previous coverage.)
