EGLN has 332 members with operations in 131 countries and will continue to operate as an affiliate of WCA.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

WCA, formerly known as World Cargo Alliance, provides networking and payment services to member firms that operate more than 6,600 offices in 800 cities worldwide.

“EGLN will retain its unique ethos and management style,” said David Yokeum, founder and chairman of Bangkok-based WCA. “By adding many of WCA’s benefits alongside strong backroom and financial support, EGLN has the tools to embark on a new phase in its development.”
