Florida Pleased With Changes in Testing Process for CDLs

In the process of cleaning up its commercial driver licensing system, Florida is implementing changes that include computerized testing, according to Sandra Lambert, the state’s director of the division of drivers’ licenses.

Lanbert said the changes are improving the system by making it more difficult for people to fraudulently obtain CDLs.

The changes, which were implemented in August, are the result of an investigation that lasted more than a year. In the early December, seven license examiners were indicted on bribery charges.
