EFS Offers Payment Processing for CAT Scale’s Mobile App
Electronic Funds Source said drivers now can use its payment cards in conjunction with CAT Scale Co.’s new Weigh My Truck mobile app.
By linking their EFS card to the mobile app, drivers can save time when weighing by completing the transaction without leaving the cab of their truck.
The mobile app and EFS card can be used to weigh and pay at any of CAT Scale’s 1,550 locations in the United States and Canada.
To use the service, drivers can create an account at www.weighmytruck.com, select their EFS Card as a form of payment and download the app to their smart phones.
When a driver then goes to weigh at a CAT Scale location, the app prompts the driver for authentication verification and authorizes the transaction on the driver’s registered EFS card.
The Weigh My Truck mobile app is free to download from the Apple App Store and Google Play for Android devices.
“We’ve seen a significant positive impact on hours of service and driver satisfaction among our customers using this mobile app payment solution, as drivers are spending less time weighing and more time on the road,” Karl Kelley, senior vice president of merchant services and channel sales for EFS, said in the Jan. 7 announcement.
