DOT Sets Agenda for Distracted Driving Summit

The Department of Transportation has announced the agenda for its second Distracted Driving Summit, scheduled for Sept. 21 in Washington.

Discussions will include a look at the past year in distracted driving, using media to combat the practice and future step, DOT said Tuesday.

The panels will include lawmakers, government officials, business leaders and others, DOT said.

The event will also include multiple addresses from speakers such as government officials and lawmakers.



DOT will webcast the event on its distracted driving website, www.disraction.gov. The site also has the agenda and other information about the summit.
