rucking companies throughout Minnesota reported on Thursday shortages of diesel in certain parts of the state, the Associated Press said.

Supplies of trucking’s main fuel dwindled in Rochester, Mankato and Winona, John Hausladen, president the Minnesota Trucking Association, told AP.

Increased demand from farmers, who are fueling their equipment for the harvest season, and continuing issues related to the introduction of ultra-low-sulfur diesel contributed to the spotty fuel availability, Hausladen told AP.
