DHL Sets New Flights in China Region

ackage carrier DHL said Monday that it was expanding its operations in and around China, setting a new direct service between Hong Kong and the United States.

The company said the 10-times-a-week service, be operated by air cargo carrier Transmile, is the latest in a series of enhancements to further strengthen its service to the region.

DHL last month added a new direct overnight express service between Tokyo and Shanghai, China and upgraded its Pudong gateway in Shanghai.



Last week it set a new gateway in Guangzhou, China, in southern China near Hong Kong at the new Baiyun Airport.

DHL Americas is ranked No. 4 on the Transport Topics 100 listing of U.S. and Canadian for-hire carriers.
