DHL Exel Supply Chain, a unit of Deutsche Post, announced several top management changes Tuesday.
William Meahl, previously chief executive officer of DHL Exel Supply Chain Americas, has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer of DHL Exel Supply Chain globally.
Meahl has led the Americas region since 2007 and previously served as CEO, contract logistics. He has been with the company for 26 years and resides in Hingham, Mass.
John Gilbert, who has been with Exel since 1994, was named CEO of DHL Exel Supply Chain Americas.
Previously he served as president of the company’s consumer and life sciences Americas business units for nearly five years and was recently named head of DHL Exel Supply Chain’s global consumer organization. Gilbert resides in Columbus, Ohio.
Scott Sureddin was named president of the consumer and life sciences Americas unit. He joined Exel in 2002 and was most recently senior vice president, operations, for the consumer business unit. Sureddin lives in Flower Mound, Texas.
DHL Exel Supply Chain is ranked No. 1 in the Transport Topics Logistics 50 listing of U.S. and Canadian logistics firms.
