HL Danzas Air & Ocean said Monday it has relocated and consolidated its three Los Angeles-area operations into a single facility to better manage rapid long-term growth of trans-Pacific import volumes.

Previously, the company's Los Angeles operations occupied three buildings located several miles apart, said DHL Danzas, which is part of DHL’s logistics division.

"Los Angeles is one of our four North American gateways, and its prominence will only increase as Asian import traffic continues to grow,” said Brian Lindholm, chief operating officer for DHL Danzas Air & Ocean’s North American operations.

Located in Redondo Beach, Calif., near the Port of Long Beach, the 200,000 square foot facility houses DHL’s Los Angeles gateway operations; air, ocean and U.S. domestic services; and customs brokerage, warehousing and customer program management activities.

DHL Americas is ranked No. 4 on the Transport Topics 100 listing of U.S. and Canadian for-hire carriers.
