The U.S. national average diesel exhaust fluid pump price remained stable for a fifth consecutive month at $2.79 per gallon in August, Integer Research reported.

The Canadian average held at 80 cents Canadian per liter for the third consecutive month, London-based Integer said in its monthly report released Aug. 28.

“U.S. and Canadian bulk prices are becoming more diverse in the wake of limited urea supply,” Integer said.

U.S. bulk prices rose for truckload and less-than-truckload delivery modes in August from July, dropping 1 cent per gallon for tote refill deliveries.

Bulk DEF prices declined in Canada for both delivery modes, while the average tote refill price remained stable at 59 Canadian cents per liter.
