Dana Inc. named Christophe Dominiak its new chief technology officer, it said.

He replaces George Constand, who is retiring, according to Dana.

Dominiak most recently served as vice president of global engineering for Dana’s off-highway drive and motion technologies business since February 2016, according to the Maumee, Ohio-based company.

“Christophe’s talents will be especially valuable to Dana as we continue commercialization of new technologies and acceleration of electrification and hybridization,” Dana CEO James Kamsickas said in a statement.

Dana supplies the commercial vehicle industry with axles, drive shafts, tire pressure management and hub systems.
